I build what Discord skipped.

I'm Shadow. Most of what I ship lives around Discord: a badge plugin with its own backend, a couple of browser tools, and a few small console scripts.

What I'm building

CustomBadges is the main project right now: one custom profile badge that shows up on everyone's screen, whether they run Vencord, BetterDiscord, a userscript or a browser extension. It's one Cloudflare Worker backend with five ways to use it. Everything else here is smaller: a network checker, an image tool, and a few console scripts.

CustomBadges

CustomBadges prints your badge on anyone's screen: Vencord, Equicord, BetterDiscord, it doesn't matter which client they're on. Set it once on your account, and it's stamped everywhere from then on.

Discord OAuth session tokens for writes. Reading badges needs nothing.

Side quests

A few things built for smaller, sharper problems.

Overhear

A userscript that adds a music button to videos on YouTube, Instagram, X, Reddit and more. Click it and it listens for 12 seconds, matches the song, and hands you a ready to run yt-dlp command plus quick search links. Audio only goes to a local server on your own machine.

Userscript Python Flask

UserNetwork

A Chrome extension that checks your current site's response time, your connection info, and live latency to five public DNS resolvers, all from one popup click.

Manifest V3 Vanilla JS

Widget Image Studio

A browser based studio for cropping, converting, and color grading images and GIFs for Discord widgets and social platforms, running entirely client side.

CustomBadges also has a small Discord community server for support and badge pack sharing.
